I like it. I am just dislocated by rivers. Which 1 goes in which direction. Mayhap, if y'all alter the thickness of the rivers, that would indicate the direction by a river getting wider.

level ii

Thank you! Someone besides pointed out too many rivers. 🤣 I'll try over again.

level 1

I think it's been mentioned a couple times, but the rivers don't look right. There are parts where information technology looks similar rivers are headed up into mountains, rather than emptying into a basin or the body of water. It's also worth noting that rivers don't split for no reason, they always follow the path of least resistance.

level 2

You're right. XD I've fabricated some changes and I'll post again. Thanks for the tips!

level 1

This is really cool! I love the menstruum and shapes of your landmasses and the placement of your mountains. How much you accept planned for your book? Did y'all make whatsoever choices considering of your narrative, or are you lot working the other way around, starting with the earth and building the story from there? Also fantastic names :)

level 2

Thank you then much! I've had this story in my head since I was 14 (now I'm twice that) simply I've never bothered with a map until today. My story has four books and currently I'thousand writing the draft for the 3rd book. I thought the world lacked flavour, and then I bit the bullet and put in the try to flesh it out. I've even so got a LONG way to go, and lots to edit in the earlier drafts, simply I'thousand enjoying the process more than I expected. I'm glad you similar the names! Names are hard. 😭 I have to google them to make certain they haven't been taken.

level one

level 2

Daym. I don't play WOW so I had to google that reference. Might have to change names. Same with Isle of Mist 😅

level i

I wouldn't modify the names especially since you didn't know they were shared. I thought it was fun to run across something that gave me a scrap of nostalgia but is still it'due south own unique entity

level two

It's alright! I'm certain I tin clasp another proper noun out hahaha.. I'd rather not go far trouble with copyrights and such. :)

level 2

Hey boyfriend writer! I know what you lot mean. It makes visualizing and so much easier. Cartoon a map with paper and pen just terrifies me.

level 1

How do you colour the bounding main? Mine came out so blotchy when I tried to shade it for depth?

level ii

Depression opacity and blending. You lot take to permit it build :)

level ane

Oh wow! This is so awesome! Though I will only be using the free version like yous, I hope to utilize this tool for the map of my novel, again like you lot. I'm only 14, but that 75 dollars I spent on bivouac pro A app that you can utilise to program your story, 100% non the all-time just for a one-time payment of 75 dollars is worth it in my eyes is a lot of motivation to continue to me, specially since that was leftover birthday money and I don't have a job heheheh.

level 2
